My newborn clients often ask for my recommendation on the best time to schedule their sessions based on their due dates. I consider a newborn session to be anywhere from 10 days old to 12 weeks old. Baby Collins was closer to 12 weeks for her session and I think these photos turned out perfect! She was so awake and alert and followed my camera the entire time. If you are worried about scheduling a session so soon after giving birth, consider opting for a later date!
